I think I made an arbitrary “animal group” name for Maws at one point, but can’t remember it. It was either a cackle or a chatter I think. Maybe a prattle? A gibber? A nattering? I can’t remember anymore.

More Kickstarter Things!
A few more things I’ve designed to be available through the Johnny Wander Kickstarter (which has just over two days left)! A patch of the Maw logo (to be 2.5”x2.5” and with an iron-on backing) and a solid 1.5” acrylic charm of Rook.
I can’t thank everyone enough for supporting the Kickstarter; pre-ordering, promoting, every little thing has helped! Ananth and I have been completely humbled by the response we’ve been getting. Thanks so much, you guys! ♥

Wondercon 2012 convention sketches. brush pen.
Wondercon was fairly slow, which allowed me to do a few sketches over the course of the weekend. I kept on forgetting to take pictures of them, so these are the only ones I’ve got. There’s another one of my Wondercon sketches over here in a photo set if you want to see “the thing I draw for people who don’t know what they want, time permitting”. (hint: it is a picture of Sleipnir in a turtleneck sweater)

Psyche, reworked. Photoshop.
About a year and a half ago, I did this picture that I really liked the concept of but less so the execution. When we decided to put together the Benign Kingdom art books, I took the opportunity to completely rework the illustration. I’m overall much happier with the result.
The Benign Kingdom Kickstarter is still going on for another two days!! Once it’s run its course, the art books will jump in price, so it’s not a bad idea to pledge right now if you’re interested in picking them up. Thank you so much to everyone who’s pledged or talked about or been interested in the project. We couldn’t be doing this without you!!

Maw, as a heraldic symbol. Been getting kinda bored with these, so I’ve been doing weirder stuff. The latin translates to “I am not lost.” NEWW sketchbook.
