We’re gonna be a TCAF! Hey guys!  Ananth and I are gonna be at Toronto Comics Arts Festival this weekend!  We’re gonna be tabling with Benign Kingdom somewhere in the the cluster of 218-221 up on the second floor. This is honestly, genuinely, our favorite show.  Hopefully we will see you there!

Drawings from ECCC 2012, part 1

Shoulda put these up a long time ago!  I did as many sketches as I possibly could at ECCC, but sometimes it wasn’t practical with the crowds.  Here’s some of the ones I remembered to take pictures of!

There’s about three posts worth of these guys, I’ll try to spread ‘em out a bit.

exquisitebeast: The Twenty-second Beast. The beast is getting super armored and segmented, somewhat like a crustacean.  Also its lower jaw is becoming jointed as well. Both Evan and I are going to be doing a west coast convention tour, so The Exquisite Beast will be taking a brief two-week hiatus.  We’ll be back on April 2nd!  In the meantime, take a look at the Exquisite Beast tumblr tag!  There are always some cool things going on over there. Yesss, the beast remains a Dungeons and Dragons monster. I’m on the West Coast until April, so updates here will be sporadic.  I don’t have access to my computer or any of my files, but maybe I’ll update with photos of convention sketches or something?  We’ll see how things work out!  In the meantime, my reblog blog is queued with cool stuff for the next week or so.

Oh hey, I haven’t touched the Ask Box in an age.  This would probably be a good time to answer this one since I got it a bunch of times!

No sorry, we will not be attending SDCC this year.  We will be at SPX in Bethesda, MD and NYCC in NYC in the fall — I think that’s it for our convention season.  Gotta work on getting to more west coast and international shows.  :/

Oh and hey while we’re on the subject.  You fellas going to SDCC best be getting some sweet photo ops with the Game of Thrones actors.  There’s gonna be like a half dozen of those dudes there and I’d better be seeing awkward photos all over my dash next week.

[eta: th-that isn’t to say I’m tellin’ you guys to harass anyone, please do not harass these dudes, please do not harass anyone on my account]
