Back to my old habit of drawing Serona in different outfits.

My Favorite Avatar Bros. fanart friday. photoshop noodling.
Oh dang, Korra season finale tomorrow! I’m super excited! Would’ve noodled with this more, but it’s starting to thunderstorm over here and I should probably disconnect from the cintiq.
One thing that I love about the new Avatar series is how adults are allowed to be fully-formed characters and be present. Heck, nearly half of the main cast is over the age of 30! And they’re all amazing and fun and rounded and flawed. It’s refreshing to see a cast of adults in a kids’ show being allowed to be adults and not clueless foils.
Also Tenzin has a rockin’ coherent design and he’s made out of a tower of pointy bells.

Unused Little Red Riding Hood Character Designs. Photoshop.
A long while back, I was approached to do a Little Red Riding Hood book. The project wound up falling through, which is too bad, because it was something I was really looking forward to. But the character designs remain, as do the final page thumbnails. Maybe some day I’ll do it on my own.

Character design for Atomic Robo. Pencil.
For an upcoming issue, Brian and Scott requested that I (and a few of their other female artist friends) design 50’s fighter pilot versions of ourselves. This is stupidly exciting and I’m stupidly excited. Omigosh omigosh omigosh I’m gunna be in Atomic Robo
But-seriously, pick up a volume of Atomic Robo if you haven’t already. It’s a fun, witty all-ages science/adventure comic and you won’t be disappointed.
