exquisitebeast: The Seventieth Beast. The Beast has become a spindly hunter!  Its foremost limbs have developed into spear-tipped lures and its front-facing arms have developed into prickly grabbers.  The rest of the body has camouflaged to blend in with brush or tree bark.  It can climb well and glide from place to place. It’s a bat/spider/hermit crab/praying mantis/octopus/angler fish!  You know the kind.  I love how Lovecraftian the beasts have been lately.
