The Fifty-second Beast.
The beast’s body has elongated further. The patterns along its back are being quills and the quills on its tail have flattened and become feather-like.
Hooray, we’re back! I’m enjoying how rubbery the face is, while the bottom is all hard pangolin scales. There’s no purpose for a creature with no eyes to have a tail-display, but I was actually thinking that the tail quill-feathers would be hard and clack together for communication. Or maybe they are used to disperse pheromones? Hmm.
